Our mediators are available ONLINE for mediation proceedings. They are experienced in conducting effective mediation proceedings using modern information technology platforms.
Our mediators are available for fixed duration mediations. These mediations are set down for a fixed time period (typically half a day). The fees for such proceedings are also fixed and charged on an hourly rate.
Our mediators are available ONLINE for Rule 41A Mediation proceedings. They understand the requirements of Rule 41A, and will assist the parties to conduct effective mediation proceedings that ensure compliance with the new Rules.
When conflict has escalated to the point where litigation has ensued, Legal Mediation is required. Legal Mediation has the following characteristics:

The parties are legally represented by Council.
The parties have become entrenched in their positions.
The litigation pathway is well defined and has commenced.
The Legal Mediator typically works with the parties to:

Develop new settlement options for addressing needs and interests.
Bring about a settlement that is commercially acceptable for all parties.
Evaluate Best Alternatives to a Negotiated Agreement [BATNA’s].
Reduce the issues that require adjudication.
Our view is that Legal Mediators should:
Be legally qualified.
Have experience of legal practice.
Be qualified and accredited as a commercial mediator.
Have experience of mediating litigated cases.
Our Mediators charge competitive professional fees.
Daily rates range from R18 000 to R26 000 (depending on the nature of the engagement). All our fees are quoted upfront, and you will know the full cost of the engagement before you decide to appoint one of our mediators.
